Advice for team loads and team shipments-
Brokers-
- Make sure YOU dispatch the drivers
- Make sure you talk to both drivers on the same phone at the same time
- Dont take any excuse that one driver is at the truck stop, taking a shower, or a long BM
- Specify both drivers must check in with shipper & sign bill of lading
Carriers & Drivers
- Be prepared to for both drivers to talk to the broker and shipper
- Both drivers should check in with the shipper, they are paying for a team, make your presence known, its all about customer service
- Give realistic delivery times, not just what sounds good, it will save you a LOT of phone calls
- Understand that if it is a team load, it’s going to be a hot shipment, so there will be more pressure on it

We hired Quality Express to run a load from TN to UT..We gave them a $1000 fuel advance. They drove it to South Dakota instead, cashed out the advance and sat on the freight for 3 days..Lying the whole time..very hard to get anybody on the phone..Then had the audacity to demand more money to deliver the product to a local warehouse so we could have somebody else deliver it to Utah. We paid the ransom money…Beware! A criminal organization. Owner is Aleksander Levchenko MC # 423683 I’m sure he’ll have a new one next week

We have created a new page that is set aside for documents that We hope you will find helpful.
The first document that we have for you should hopefully help cut down on some issues you are running into. It is a page that you can put with your setup packets or conformations. Whether you are a broker or a carrier you can use it as it applies to both.
If you put this with your paper work, you will let companies know ahead of time that you will not accept double brokering, or non payments of any kind, or anything else that can be reported. All you are doing is saying that you support honest and ethical business dealings, and that you are looking for the same in other companies you deal with.
Click here to check out the document. You may make changes to it as you wish, and any questions or comments please email us!
Thanks everyone, we have seen a huge upsurge in growth and are growing at a very good pace thanks to everyone doing such a great job to report things!

Freedom Express Logistics, Inc. was booked on a load on 02/08/2010 at 10:13AM. We found numerous complaints about Freedom, including reports that it held loads hostage and double brokered. We then informed “Mike Smith,” that is the name the driver gave us, at 10:44 a.m. that he was not authorized to pick up the load. Still, he picked up the load and demanded the total payment up front or he threatened to dump the load. We explained that he was never authorized to have the load, but that we would make the payment when he bumped the dock. This was not acceptable to him. On 2/12/10 we gave Mike Smith the total payment by Tchek and he said he would then deliver immediately. However, 5 hours later he demanded an additional $800 to deliver. We refused to give him the additional $800 amid his constant threats and filed police reports and insurance claims. 5 days after we filed the reports, the truck arrived at the receiver unannounced and delivered the product on 2/16/10 while continuing to demand the $800 through the morning of 2/17. The last conversation with Mike he started laughing and said you will never catch me.
