Details of the event: We booked a load with “Curtis” at Transcontinental Logistics LLC to pick up on 5/27/11 and deliver to Newburgh, NY on 5/31/11. On 5/31/11 were informed by “Anna” that the load would be delivered on 6/1/11. On 6/1/11 we were informed by “Curtis” that the load would be delivered on 6/2/11. We were unable to reach anybody at Transcontinental Logistics on 6/2/11 to confirm that the load had delivered. On the afternoon of Friday, 6/3/11, we were informed by “Elliot” that there were 8 skids refused at delivery and that we were now responsible for additional charges of $450 for Reconsignment, $200 to offload the 8 pallets, $200 to reload the 8 pallets and $200 per day storage for the 8 pallets. “Elliot” refused to provide pictures of the freight or to allow us to send another carrier to his dock to pick up the freight. Nebraska foundation repair . On Monday, 6/6/11 we were forced to pay $2500 via Comcheck in order to get the refused freight returned to the shipper in the Rochester, NY area. Freight was supposed to be returned to the shipper on Tuesday, 6/7/11 at 2:30 PM. We checked with “Julian” on the morning of 6/7/11 and were informed that the freight was out for delivery. At 2:30 PM, we were informed by the shipper that their freight had not been returned. We immediately had our attorneys contact Transcontinental since they had broken the agreement that we were forced to agree to since they had received the funds that they unjustly demanded, yet had not returned the freight, which they had guaranteed to do in writing. After giving our attorneys the run around, we were informed that the freight would be returned on Wednesday, 6/8/11, so we made an appointment for 2:30 PM. monavie . Eric Mello . We spoke to Anna on the morning of 6/8/11 and were informed that the freight was on schedule to returned at 2:30 PM. At 2:30 PM, we received a call from the shipper informing us that the appointment to re-deliver the freight had been missed again. We called Anna at Transcontinental to inform her that she had 5 minutes to tell us where the freight was before we reported it stolen and she said that she would get back to us. The next phone call was from a different carrier telling us that Transcontinental told them to call us right away. Upon review, we discovered that Transcontinental co-brokered our freight to this carrier who finally returned it to the shipper on the evening of 6/8/11. It is important to note that MC 731932 does not have broker authority. Upon review and investigation today, we were able to contact an ex-employee who informed us that “Elliot” is an alias for William Rosenthal and that he uses aliases all of the time, and that he is the same William Rosenthal who owned and operated Causeway Warehouse and Distribution (MC 200213). There are numerous reported offenses by Causeway of using aliases, holding freight hostage and not paying their drivers and/or employees. We were also informed that William Rosenthal has used the following aliases in the past: Bill Rossi, Nick Defonte, Dave Garrett and Jerry Rose.

Wright Transportation Holding Shipment Hostage
Wright Transportation Inc MC # 353905 out of Mobile, AL was contracted to pick up a shipment for us 11-1-10.
The driver was sent to Rutherfordton, NC, the shipper loaded the product and blocked it in with a couple boards, the driver strapped the load, signed the bills, and left with the shipment. The driver got approximately 20 miles down the road and the load shifted in transit. Daniel Wright from Wright Transportation contacted us and told us that the load had shifted in transit and asked us what we wanted to do about it. We informed him that since the drivers load shifted in transit and was unsafe to move, that he needed to contact the proper authorities and contact his insurance company.
The next morning we received a call from Pat Wright of Wright Transportation. He told us that they had gone ahead and brought the trailer and load 500 miles back to Mobile, AL, and were holding the shipment ransom until his transporation costs were paid, along with the full amount of his trailer doors, plus $50 storage a day until the money was wired to his accounts and he delivered the product.
We offered to give him a comcheck for the transportation costs before he delivered, but contractually that we didnt owe him for his trailer doors, he refused for anything less, and held the shipment for 22 days until he was payed all charges before hand.

TODAY is 10/22 its 250 pm, carrier had called our customer to tell them they would deliver at 7 am this morning and they still have not showed up to deliver.

We hired Quality Express to run a load from TN to UT..We gave them a $1000 fuel advance. tutors . Denver SEO . They drove it to South Dakota instead, cashed out the advance and sat on the freight for 3 days..Lying the whole time..very hard to get anybody on the phone..Then had the audacity to demand more money to deliver the product to a local warehouse so we could have somebody else deliver it to Utah. Freedom Express Logistics, Inc. MC 643699 Double brokering, holding load hostage
Freedom Express Logistics, Inc. casino online . was booked on a load on 02/08/2010 at 10:13AM. We found numerous complaints about Freedom, including reports that it held loads hostage and double brokered. We then informed “Mike Smith,” that is the name the driver gave us, at 10:44 a.m. that he was not authorized to pick up the load. Third Party Logistics Colorado . Still, he picked up the load and demanded the total payment up front or he threatened to dump the load. We explained that he was never authorized to have the load, but that we would make the payment when he bumped the dock. This was not acceptable to him. On 2/12/10 we gave Mike Smith the total payment by Tchek and he said he would then deliver immediately. However, 5 hours later he demanded an additional $800 to deliver. Cheapest New Driver Insurance . We refused to give him the additional $800 amid his constant threats and filed police reports and insurance claims. 5 days after we filed the reports, the truck arrived at the receiver unannounced and delivered the product on 2/16/10 while continuing to demand the $800 through the morning of 2/17. The last conversation with Mike he started laughing and said you will never catch me.
